A loan of $1,500 helps to buy a larger stove and the necessary ingredients for making pupusas such as fried pork rinds, corn, oil, and other items.

Evelyn Estefania's story
Evelyn completed her high school education in her hometown. She is currently married, and her husband works in agriculture. Together, they share a home with their infant son, who is just a few months old.
In addition to working as a secretary, Evelyn runs a small pupusa-selling business that she has managed for approximately three years. She operates this venture in front of her home during the afternoons and evenings. She learned how to prepare pupusas thanks to her mother's teachings and it is a skill that has enabled her to generate additional income to support her family.
The loan she is requesting will be used to purchase a larger stove and the necessary supplies for making pupusas such as fried pork rind, corn, oil, and other ingredients she uses in her business. With this investment, she hopes to boost her production and serve more customers.
Evelyn dreams of being able to build her own home where she can live with her husband and son, enjoying greater privacy and comfort, and thereby provide better living conditions for her family.
