San Miguel Arcangel Group's story

Griselda is an enterprising woman and a member of the SAN MIGUEL ARCÁNGEL credit group. She currently runs a small grocery store out of her home and also sells cheese and meat, both from her house and as a street vendor within her community. These activities represent a significant source of income that helps support her family.

She decided to venture into this line of work with the goal of generating additional funds to cover household expenses. Although she had always worked in food sales, joining the credit group enabled her to access capital, allowing her to invest in larger quantities of merchandise and strengthen her business.

With dedication and hard work, Griselda strives every day to serve her customers and grow her enterprise. Her greatest dream is to own a larger, well-stocked business that would allow her to offer a wider range of products and improve her financial stability.

With her current loan, she plans to invest in high-demand items such as rice, sugar, pasta, cooking oil, toilet paper, dairy products, and yogurt, among other essential goods needed to restock her shop and boost her sales.

The other members of the group also run various small businesses, including the sale of clothing, fast food, empanadas, cleaning supplies, perfumes, and snacks; some manage grocery stores, sandwich shops, or carpentry workshops, among other ventures. (The baby appearing in the photo is the child of one of the group members.)
