Sando's story

Sando, a 38-year-old businesswoman, has built a successful fish, chicken, and rice business over the past 10 years. She lives with her partner; she learned trade from her grandmother and has managed her business smoothly without any major issues. She sells them six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, using either a car or a kehkeh to transport her supplies to her business site.

Recently Sando applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner, to help her expand her inventory and meet the growing demand from her loyal customers. The loan will allow her to purchase more fish, chicken, and rice to sell and offer a wider selection to her clientele. Sando’s dream is to grow her business even further, providing a better future for her family. She is deeply grateful for the financial support from the funders, which will play a key role in turning her dreams into reality.
