Yawah's story
This is 38-year-old Yawah from Liberia. She is married and has four children; they are currently in school and live at home. Yawah is a hardworking businesswoman who for the past eight years has been selling chicken and pig feet. She learned how to sell from her mother. She sells Monday through Saturday and uses a car to transport her supplies.
To maintain her business, Yawah requested for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Lending Partner. With this loan, she will purchase more stock to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it supports her livelihood; her dream for the future is to increase her business. Yawah wishes to say thanks!
