Delci's story

My name is Delci and my trajectory is the testimony of how a dream born in precariousness can be transformed into a platform for global impact. When I was seven years old, my family and I moved to the state of Bolivar, Venezuela, where we faced an extreme reality: we lived in a makeshift plank house in a cowshed, without drinking water and surrounded by natural hazards.

It was in that environment that I discovered my refuge: television. For me, that "box" represented a magical world and, from then on, I began to imagine that I had my own talk show, using the animals of the farm as my first guests. That spark never went out. I graduated as a Graphic Designer, prepared myself with numerous courses in the communications area and obtained my certification as a radio announcer, thus beginning my path in the production of events and audiovisual media.

When I emigrated to the United States, I faced the challenge of knocking on many doors in traditional media without receiving a hiring opportunity. Far from giving up, I decided that if I couldn't find a space, I would create one myself. That's how En El Lente Productions was born. What began as my own entrepreneurial project, today has 7 years of experience in podcast format, where I have conducted more than 1,200 interviews, achieving a significant reach in the community.

Recently, we reached an important milestone: the launch of our first print edition. Maintaining both the magazine and the podcast independently has been a constant challenge that requires a great logistical and financial effort. For this reason, I ask for your support: to continue promoting this media that was born from a childhood dream in a barn and that today is a reality that connects and gives voice to hundreds of people.

This loan will be the engine to expand the reach of En El Lente Productions and ensure that our new print stage continues to grow with the same strength as our digital content.
