A loan of $800 helps to buy 200 broiler chickens, concentrated feed and inputs necessary for their optimal nutrition and development.

Ernesto Antonio's story
Ernesto is 65 years old and completed primary schooling in his community. He currently lives with his wife, who works breeding small animals as well as carrying out domestic duties. They both work to provide for their family.
He has more than 25 years of experience rearing poultry, which he learned how to do from his parents from an early age. In addition, he grows corn and beans, both for the family's consumption and to earn income. He also does bricklaying and other jobs in order to generate additional income and strengthen the household finances.
His extensive experience has enabled him to consolidate his knowledge and, on this occasion, he will use the loan to buy 200 broiler chickens, concentrated feed and inputs necessary for their optimal nutrition and development. In addition, he will buy mesh, wood and sheeting to make a better chicken pen for the birds.
His dreams are to continue working together with his family in rearing small animals and in agriculture as well as to improve his home in the future.
