María is an entrepreneurial woman and a member of the credit group Mujeres Valientes. She is currently engaged in selling food, an activity she chose because of the flexibility it offers, allowing her to better organize her workdays.

Previously, she sold perfumes, but thanks to joining the group she was able to access the capital needed to invest in her new gastronomic venture. This support was key in taking the step toward an activity with higher turnover and demand in her community.

Although she currently has no people who depend directly on her income, María works with the clear goal of being self-sufficient and covering all household expenses through what her business generates. Her desire is to consolidate a stable source of income that provides security and long-term growth.

With the current loan, she plans to invest in essential supplies such as empanadas, croquettes, hamburgers, baked goods, seasonings, eggs, ham, cheese, and oil. This investment will allow her to increase production, offer greater variety, and improve her income.

The group she belongs to is made up of women entrepreneurs who are engaged in selling cleaning products, herbal remedies, food, shaved ice treats, event decorating, hairstyling, haberdashery, among other businesses.
