A loan of $6,500 helps an inventor and father build his patented hybrid wind, solar and water generator prototype in WI.

Mark's story
I am a single father and an inventor who refuses to quit. I had two comic book stores in California and ran them for over 30 years. Unfortunately, with the boom of Amazon, I couldn't compete with the lower prices and had to close my business.
Four years ago, I became disabled, but that challenge only sharpened my focus. Although my children are now adults living out of state, my goal is to build a sustainable legacy for them and for families here in WI and everywhere else where help is needed. I have spent years engineering the MEC-A, a patented hybrid generator that captures wind, solar, and water energy in a single portable unit. This business is my contribution to a greener world and a way to prove that clean energy can be reliable anywhere.
