William's story
William is a 65-year-old married man with five children living in a western part of Uganda.
He is a farmer who deals specifically in banana and coffee plantation farming as his major source of income, where he can sell over 40 bunches of bananas on a monthly basis.
He is facing a challenge of poor banana yields due to infertile soils and, therefore, he is requesting a loan to purchase manure to add to his banana plantation so that it can yield more bananas at the end of the season.
This will result in more profits from banana sales during the harvesting season.
