Jose Orlando's story
Jose Orlando is 28 years old, married and has a 4-year-old son. His wife is a homemaker. They live in the Rocafuerte canton, an agricultural area inhabited by hardworking people dedicated to farm work and animal rearing.
He is a good father and husband who works to provide the best for his family. He makes an effort to find ways to generate income and move forward despite the challenges of life in the countryside, especially the lack of basic services. He does not give up and constantly seeks solutions to progress. He is engaged in agriculture and has several hectares of coconut crops. His goal, with the support of the credit, is to plant more trees and improve the care of those he already has, intending to increase production and obtain the necessary resources to ensure his family's well-being. He also grows rice and sells it.
This loan is to plant more coconut trees, rice seeds, as well as for the purchase of fertilisers and organic insecticides.
