Sussa's story

My name is Sussa, and I am originally from Venezuela. I have worked as a chef and in international catering for more than ten years, and food has always been my passion. Over the years, as I cooked for my family, I became more aware of how certain ingredients affected our health, especially for my son Noah, who developed eczema when he was around three years old. Finding foods that didn’t irritate his skin or make him uncomfortable was a challenge, so I began creating gluten-free and dairy-free recipes for him throughout the years.

In 2020, during the lockdown, I started developing a clean, allergen-friendly bread recipe at home. I shared a few loaves with neighbors and friends, and the response was immediate, people were looking for clean, simple baked goods they could trust. One loaf turned into many, and I realized there was a real need for the kind of food I was making for my own family.

From that moment forward, I expanded into cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and more, and Eleven Eleven Wellness Bakery was born. My mission is to create clean, gluten-free, allergen-friendly baked goods that help people feel supported, included, and well
