Omuhereza
A loan of $1,125 helps buy more milk to sell.

Omuhereza's story
Omuhereza is 69 years old and lives in the town of Kiyinda in the Kiyinda region of Uganda. He is married and has 7 children with 6 of them currently in school.
For the past 10 years, Omuhereza has been working hard to manage his dairy business, which sells milk. To help expand his business, Omuhereza has requested a loan of 4,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more milk for sale, and will help Omuhereza to generate greater profits and to educate his children.
Omuhereza hopes that in the future he will be able to expand his business. He is a member of BRAC's microfinance program, which primarily serves small-group members like him who do not have collateral for commercial loans but have businesses that have grown and qualify for microloans.
