Nirmala

Nirmala is a 51-year-old woman from Sri Lanka who is the main provider for her family back home.  She is well known for having a kind heart and a hardworking spirit.  

Nirmala is requesting a loan of 800 JOD to buy detergents, cleaning equipment, and other essential household products to sell from her home.  Having five years of experience, she knows exactly which products her neighbors need the most.  She has built a reputation for being reliable and helpful.  

Despite experiencing many hardships after moving and living far from her loved ones, Nirmala has managed to succeed.  She spends each day organizing her inventory.  Nirmala is highly respected for her strength and the way she puts her family’s needs above her own.  Her main goal is to grow her little shop so that she can achieve a stable income, thus enabling her to send more money to help back home.

By adding more items to her shelves, Nirmala is taking a brave step toward a better life and a more secure future for the people she loves.
