Many are the Guatemalan women who seek to improve their lives through the businesses that they own and run from different places such as communities, small towns, municipalities, and others.

Each one of these dreams is being accomplished thanks to the people of Kiva, who lend a friendly hand to the women who seek to improve their living conditions through their businesses. One of these women is Marta, who approximately a year ago benefited from a loan which, with much happiness, she was able to invest in the purchase of thread to continue strengthening her business of traditional weavings. In a short time, the Holy Week season will be celebrated, for which Marta wants to have a variety of traditional weavings on hand for her customers.

This motivation brought her to approach the association to apply for a loan and invest it in the purchase of threads of brands such as Mish, Crystalito, and Alemán. She is anxious to receive this loan, since only in this way will she be able to work with total certainty in her business.
