Las Conocidas Group's story
The "las Conocidas" group is made up of enterprising and responsible people, committed to improving the quality of life of their families. They live in low-income neighbourhoods where living conditions are not so great.
Such is the case of Teresa who started buying and selling clothing 10 years ago. She sells to family members, friends and neighbours who live nearby. This job still continues to allow her to make money in order to help with household expenses.
She will buy a larger variety of clothing with the loan to carry on selling.
Teresa hopes to grow her business in order to set up in a premises, given that at the moment she is selling door-to-door.
The rest of the group is formed by Noe, Rosario, Rosa, Magdalena and Tomasa, people who are seeking to move forward with their families.
