Del Caminito Group's story
The Del caminito [the little path] group is made up of women entrepreneurs who are responsible and committed to improving their families' quality of life. They live in working-class neighborhoods where living conditions are average.
Such is the case for Blanca who is 42 years old, married and the mother of one child. Thirteen years ago, she started preparing and selling food from her home. This activity has allowed her to generate income to help cover her family's expenses.
Blanca will use her loan to purchase the meat, vegetables and spices she needs to prepare the food she sells.
Blanca hopes to purchase a larger stove to prepare more food.
The rest of the group comprises Sherlin, Beatriz, Jessica and Yuri. These women work hard every day to get ahead.
