Caroline's story
Caroline is 33 years and supports four family members. She is married to Benard and supports her children aged 14, 10 and 8. She has had a retail shop and farming business for the last 10 years. From the business, she gets an income of ksh 25,000.
Caroline will use the money to add stock like flour, cooking oil, sugar, salt etc. as well as buy fertilizer and seeds for her farm. After clearing her previous loan successfully, she has applied for a 3rd loan. Through the profit she gets she will be able to pay school fees for her children as well as give them other basic needs.
Her hopes and dreams is to have a stable life and educate her children to university level.
