Irene's story
Irene is a refugee mother to 4 children who all attend school and stay with her in Moyo, which is in the West Nile region of Uganda.
To be where she is today is by the grace of God and she NEVER ever imagined that she could be alive. When she fled the war and landed in Uganda, life was very hard.
Despite all the hardship, she NEVER gave up. Rather, she continued working hard to be able to provide her family a better life.
She has a restaurant that sells a variety of local food stuffs and she has many customers, though she would like to add more stock of food stuff and utensils.
With this addition, she will be able to improve her capital base and offer her family a better life. She is very glad for the support that VisionFund and Kiva have given her.
