Adriano

Adriano, a 31-year-old male, is married with 1 child who has not yet stared schooling. He has good character and cooperates well with his wife, who helps him on doing some of the light work on their farm. He is a good repeat client of the institution who meets his payment obligation timely.

He earns from farming of seasonal crops like beans, millet and maize. However, he mostly does coffee farming, which he has been doing for a very long time. Adriano says he would be earning more from coffee farming, but he is limited by the amount of land to grow it extensively. This is the reason he is requesting funds. He says if funded he will be able to buy land, put up more coffee plants, produce more, and sell more, and  hence make more profits which he will use to take his child to a good school.
