Tharwat's story

Tharwat is 56 years old, married, and a father of five children. He lives in the village of El Barsha, where he runs a livestock project that has been his family’s main source of income for many years. He and his wife work together to manage the project. They purchase young cattle, raise and fatten them, and benefit from their products by selling milk, cheese, and ghee. This activity provides essential income to cover household expenses and support their children.

Recently, Tharwat has faced financial constraints that limit his ability to expand his herd and maintain consistent production. Due to limited capital, he is unable to purchase additional livestock and sufficient feed, which affects the growth of his business. Tharwat is requesting a loan of EGP 70,000 to buy two young heads of cattle with the necessary feed and hay. This loan will help him increase production, improve his income, and strengthen his family’s financial stability. He hopes to grow his small project into a large livestock farm in the future.
