Fawzia's story
Fawzia is 52 and a married woman who lives in a rural community. She has two daughters and two sons. Her husband is a small-scale farmer with no other source of income. Fawzia runs a poultry trading business, which she manages to provide for her family and support her grandchildren’s education.
She applied for a loan of EGP 50,000 from Together Association to purchase poultry and feed. With this loan, she cleans, packages, and markets the poultry to her village and neighbors, increasing her family’s income and supporting her household needs.
