Las Capiateñas Group's story

Natalia is an enterprising woman who is the mother of 3 children.  She is a member of the communal bank "Las Capiatenas."  At this time, she has a business selling fruits and vegetables from her house and also on the street.  She chose this activity because she wanted to be independent and generate her own income to support the family.

Previous, Natalia worked as a domestic, but thanks to this communal bank, she's been able to access the capital that she needed to start her own business.  This step was an important change in her life, allowing her to better organize her time, be with her children, and build a more stable source of income.

Natalia dreams of having her own house, and she is working with determination to achieve this goal.  To increase her earnings and approach this goal, she plans to invest this loan in high demand products such as: tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, bananas, apples, cassava, corn, potatoes, oranges, and pineapples.  This will increase her inventory and allow her to attract more customers.

This communal bank is made up of enterprising women who are developing a variety of businesses.  They are supporting each other in order to strengthen their income and improve their family's quality of life.  (Note: the man in the photo is also part of this group).
