La Alegría 2 Group's story
The La Alegría 2 committee participates in the Fundación Paraguaya Women Entrepreneurs program. It was formed by a group of hardworking and responsible women who seek to improve their quality of life through collective effort, solidarity, and access to financial opportunities.
The committee president is Avelina, who sells vegetables at her own stand. Her daily routine consists of opening her stall early to maximize sales, which allows her to sustain her business and improve her family's quality of life. She is an example for her colleagues, who, like her, have their own businesses and work together to get ahead.
Note: The child belongs to one of the women who signed the loan agreement.
