Santa Josefina
A loan of $1,050 helps to purchase a variety of typical clothing including cortes [skirts], güipiles [blouses] and fajas [belts] in lovely colors.

Santa Josefina's story
This is Santa, who currently shared and lives in Aldea Guineales, which is located in the southern part of La Boca-Costa, Sololá, and is 167 km from Guatemala City. Santa is 37 years old, married, and the mother of four children who are minors. Two of them are students.
The business which Santa has established from her village is buying and selling typical clothing of the region. She has been in this business for around six years, which has allowed her to share and cover their expenses with her spouse. This motivates her to continue getting up each morning with the hope of improving and being an exemplary woman in her village.
Continuing to grow is what Santa seeks in her business and, for this reason, she approaches Asociación ADICLA with the hope of asking for a loan and investing it in the purchase of a variety of typical clothing including cortes [skirts], güipiles [blouses] and fajas [belts] in lovely colors. Of course, she thanks Kiva for trusting in and supporting women for a better life.
