Adrian's story
My name is Adrian. I am from Bolivia, and I moved to the United States ten years ago under the fiancée visa. Back in my home country of Bolivia, I had a career as an Industrial Engineer, but I decided to follow my passion when I moved to the United States. So, I started learning about food businesses.
After working in different restaurants around Portland, Maine – my new home – I started the Empanada Club, now with more than eight years in business. Moving to the USA has been the most challenging experience, but I believe anything is possible with passion and hard work.
