Nubia's story
Nubia is an animal breeder from Piendamó, Cauca, with 35 years of experience. She owns a half-hectare farm where she has built a shed for raising 250 broiler chickens, which she feeds with balanced feed and supplements that support their growth. The shed is constructed with wood, bamboo, and wire mesh—materials that have allowed her to carry out her activity for many years. However, they currently require improvements to provide greater protection and better conditions for the birds.
Nubia lives in a house built in the middle of her land. She has two independent adult children who support her with certain tasks when needed and accompany her in her productive process.
A loan of $5,328,955 COP allows Nubia to purchase materials to remodel her shed and improve the conditions of her farm.
