I used to be a corporate lawyer. In those dark days, I drank lots and lots of coffee. It became a passion. I was ordering coffee beans from small specialty roasters from all over the country. I was spending a lot of my free time in coffee bars and found such joy in the craft of making espresso. So I quit and opened up my first coffee bar. It's been a wild ride since. COVID was really hard for and forced me to close 2 of our 3 locations. My last remaining shop is really a neighborhood hub. I love the people there. I see the same faces day in and day out and I'm so lucky to be in a community that has really supported me for over 10 years. As I look to the next 10, I'm really focused on delivering more unique experiences and drinks for my neighborhood. I really want Demitasse to be not only a wonderful third space for all our patrons, but somewhere people come to taste and experience something they can't get anywhere else.
