Boumouda Group's story

Created in September 2013, this group includes brave women living in the same village and who have a strong sense of cohesion.

Ms. Maimouna, with her hand raised in the photo, is the group's representative. Aged 56, she is active in the sale of poultry, food products, market gardening, and dried fish. She is the mother of 10 children and has two grandsons in her care.

She will use her loan to buy chicks that she will raise and resell later. She wants to use the profits to finance her youngest children's education and to help her husband with family expenses.
