Wassa Group
A loan of $3,200 helps a member to purchase agricultural inputs, fuel, and irrigation in order to increase production of her crops.

Wassa Group's story
Mamadou is 53 years old and married, as well as the father of four children (three sons and one daughter). They are all younger than 17 and attend school. While Mamadou himself never had the opportunity to attend school, he has over 25 years of experience in farming at the heart of his village.
In order to increase his harvest, Mamadou has appealed to RMCR for financial support. This loan will be used to purchase agricultural inputs, fuel, a pump system, and irrigation equipment, all essential to increase his fields' production.
Mamadou's business allows him to cover household expenses, as well as fund his children's education and repay his loan according to schedule.
Mamadou's harvest is sold at the local markets and surrounding areas, as well as sometimes being sold in the village.
Mamadou's dream is to expand his farming activity in order to improve this access to water by drilling a well, which will increase yields and get him closer to economic independence.
