Yiriwa Group's story

Modibo, a vegetable producer in Mali, is the father of 3 children, two of whom are in school. He has been cultivating vegetables for the past 10 years, producing vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and eggplants.

The farming of vegetables is his main source of revenue in his business. Thanks to his adoption of agricultural techniques, he has recorded an increase of approximately 30% in his productivity, illustrating his ability to adapt and continually improve. 

His products are sold in the local markets, generating stable revenues that allow him to cover the school fees of his children and to satisfy the essential needs of his household. 

Conscious of the limits of his current model, Modibo has expressed a strong interest in structural partnerships, notably with microfinance institutions, development projects or enterprises, in order to have access to adapted finances, reinforcing his management abilities and to develop agricultural trnsformation.

His journey was recognized at the community level fpr its rigour, his longterm vision and his desire to innovate. These make him a strong profile of high potential economic and social impact.
