Terembasse Group's story
Created in October 2001, this group is composed of members living in the same village who have good social cohesion. Their main work is in small-scale commerce.
Ms. Mariétou is a merchant by trade. She is active in selling vegetables and fish. She is 30, married, and the mother of eight children, including four daughters. And she has two others to support.
With her new loan, she intends to buy some produce from the weekly markets nearby. The earnings will be used to boost her savings and to pay her children's school fees.
