Keur Daouda Group's story

This group, made up of fourteen women who all live in the same village, was created in 2010. They all work in the farming industry and sell peanuts. Ms. Maimouna, standing on the right side of the photo with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is thirty-four years old, married, and the mother of four children, including one daughter. She resells her goods at her local market where weekly markets are held regularly. She will use the profits generated to pay for her children's schooling, save, and support her husband.
