This group was created in September 2013, uniting women from the same village, bound by strong social cohesion and engaged in agricultural or commercial activities.
Ms. Aissatou Billie Boffa, the group's representative, pictured on the right with her hand raised, is 52 years old, married, and a mother of four, with four nephews also in her care.
She has been a member of the banc villageois for several years.
Very dynamic and hardworking, she is active in vegetable gardening. She buys her seeds locally and sells her harvest at the neighbourhood market.
She uses her earnings to save and to contribute to daily expenses.
