Abrahán
A loan of $1,100 helps to purchase organic fertilizers that complement the fertilization of his crops.

Abrahán's story
Abrahán is an Indigenous farmer from Jambaló, Cauca, with 36 years of experience. He owns a one-hectare farm assigned by the Indigenous council, where he harvests more than 6,000 coffee plants intercropped with plantain trees that contribute to soil balance and efficient land use. He applies ancestral techniques specific to his community that strengthen crop care and environmental conservation.
Abrahán lives with his wife and two children in a house he built on his land, which facilitates family support and the daily management of the farm.
A loan of $4,026,321 COP allows Abrahán to purchase organic fertilizers that strengthen the nutrition of his crops. This investment improves soil fertility and increases the production and quality of coffee and plantain.
