Tashara's story

I am an only child who lost my mother at the age of 13. Growing up without her was incredibly difficult, but during those tough years I discovered something that brought me comfort and excitement: automobiles. I first fell in love with the mechanical side of cars, and later, as I started going to auctions, the bidding process drew me in even more. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a passion.

Life took a painful turn when I became a victim of domestic violence. During that time I lost myself and the dream I had worked so hard to build. With years of professional support and a commitment to healing, I eventually found the strength to rebuild my life. Today, I am doing what I love again: selling cars and helping people find reliable, affordable transportation.

To keep my business going, I work three part-time jobs and fund every deal with my own personal cash. This often means long days away from my children and constant mental and physical exhaustion. Still, I continue pushing forward because this business represents my independence, my passion, and the future I want to create for my family.

A Kiva loan would reduce the financial pressure, give me more time with my children, and help me continue building a business born from resilience, determination, and a genuine love for what I do.
