Laurenzina

Meet Laurenzina, mother to 6 children as well as 4 dependents who all are school going and stay with her in Moyo, which is in the West Nile region of Uganda.

Life has really been so hard for this mother, but all the same she chooses not to give up but work hard and change whatever happened and change for the better. Today things are much better, and she is very happy and at least she can afford to provide her family 3 meals a day and medical care whenever they are sick.

She is a farmer who grows millet, maize and sorghum. Besides farming, she also has a home stall that sells mainly home consumption goods. She now understands this business much better, and she knows what to stock and not bring goods that may take long to be sold and tie up the capital.

At the moment she is not able to have a stall in the market due to limited capital. She would like to add more stock to the business. With this loan she will be able to boost her sales, pay school fees, expand the business and offer her family a better life.
