A loan of $5,700 helps a member strengthen her entrepreneurship, move towards economic stability and build a future with more opportunities.

Virgen Del Pilar-Solidario Group's story
Milka is a member of the VIRGEN DEL PILAR - SOLIDARIO self help group and currently sells accessories, an activity that covers her day-to-day expenses. She decided to start in this buisness with the aim of achieving greater economic independence and being able to work from home. Before joining the self help group, she did not have the necessary capital to invest; however, thanks to their support, she was able to start her own business and begin to generate income independently.
Milka dreams of continuing to train in different areas to expand her knowledge, diversify her products, and increase her sales. In addition, she longs to have her own place where she can display her products comfortably and provide better service to her customers. With the requested loan, she plans to invest in bracelets, necklaces, bags, wallets, and keychains, expanding her stock and offering a greater variety of accessories.
Milka is part of a solidarity group of women entrepreneurs who carry out various economic activities, such as the sale of accessories, ice cream, food, perfumes, jewelry, footwear and clothing; in addition, some work as makeup artists, eyelash artists or have pastry businesses.
