Mujeres De Rincon Group
A loan of $2,575 helps a member to strengthen her enterprise, take care of her mother, and advance toward a more dignified and sustainable future.

Mujeres De Rincon Group's story
Mercedes is a member of the Mujeres de Rincón loan group and is currently working as a street vendor of fruits, an activity with which she pays her household expenses and financially supports her mother, who is now elderly. Her income is fundamental for her family's wellbeing so, upon accessing capital through the loan group, she decided to go into business with the objective of improving her financial situation and achieving greater stability.
Mercedes's dream is to have her own home-based business, which will allow her to sell her products without depending on weather conditions and to ensure a more consistent income.
With the requested loan, she plans to invest in the purchase of fruits such as mamones, mandarins, bananas, apples, peaches, and oranges, among other options, to restock her merchandise, offer a greater variety to her customers, and increase her sales.
Mercedes is part of a solidarity group of entrepreneurial women who, primarily, work selling fruit. Others develop activities such as selling food and clothing.
