Huệ's story

Mrs. Huệ is 47 years old, married, and a devoted mother of three children. One of her children has grown up while the other two are still attending school. Her family lives in a rural area of Thanh Hoa province.

Her husband works as a freelance laborer, with irregular and uncertain earnings. For more than 10 years, Mrs. Huệ has been running a small grocery shop to support her family. The shop mainly serves local residents in the surrounding area. Despite her hard work, her monthly income is just over 200 USD, which is barely enough to cover daily living expenses and her children’s education.

To better meet customer demand and increase her income, Mrs. Huệ plans to purchase more products such as snacks, candy, and soft drinks to diversify her shop’s offerings. However, limited capital is preventing her from expanding her business. Therefore, she is applying for her 16th loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to invest in additional goods.

With this loan, Mrs. Huệ hopes to increase her sales, stabilize her income, and gradually improve her family’s quality of life.
