Unidad Chiapaneca Group's story

The "Unidad chiapaneca" loan group's members are responsible women who are committed to improving their families' quality of life. They live in working-class neighbourhoods where living conditions are adequate.

This is the case for Marbella, who continues buying and selling new and used clothing. She sells to relatives, friends and neighbours in nearby areas. This work continues to allow Marbella to generate an income to be able to help with family expenses.

Marbella used her last loan to buy more clothing to sell.

Marbella continues working to expand her business and to be able to open premises for her trade.

The rest of the group members are: Laura, Marbe, Martha and Patricia, women who, alongside their families, are looking to move forward.

In this group: Laura, Marbella, Marbella, Martha Elena, Martha Patricia
