Hellen

Hellen is a resilient smallholder farmer from Homabay who has built her livelihood through determination and hard work. After losing her husband, she took on the responsibility of providing for her household by turning to farming. Over the past few years, Hellen has gained valuable hands-on experience, learning how to prepare her land, plant and manage crops, and cope with the challenges that come with small-scale farming.

Despite limited resources, she has remained committed to her farm because it is her main source of food and income. Hellen is now seeking a loan to buy essential farm inputs such as quality seeds and fertilizer.  With these inputs, she believes she can increase her yields, improve the quality of her produce, and earn a more stable income.
