Ciclo
A loan of $50,000 helps to transform construction waste into eco-friendly bricks and pavers while increasing recycling capacity by 15%.

Ciclo's story
Ciclo is a Peruvian social enterprise specialized in recycling construction and demolition waste (CDW) to manufacture circular-economy building materials such as recycled aggregates, eco-pavers, blocks and bricks.
Peru faces a significant problem with the mismanagement of CDW, where millions of tons of debris are generated each year and are mostly illegally dumped in rivers, streets and vacant lots, generating significant issues in terms of environmental pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and health risks. Ciclo tackles this problem by collecting demolition materials and waste from construction sites in Lima and processing them into recycled aggregates and eco-materials used in construction projects.
This loan will support Ciclo in purchasing new machinery for its processing plant, increasing operational capacity by 15% and improving efficiency in the collection and classification of construction and demolition waste
