Thanh's story
Ms. Thanh is 61 years old and lives with her family in Tiên Trang Commune. She takes care of two young grandchildren, aged 10 and 7, while their parents work from home to earn a living. With limited support, she plays an important role in caring for the children and maintaining the household.
She has more than 20 years of experience in fish sauce processing and fish trading. However, her family is still classified as a low-income household in the local area. This is her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI, which she plans to use to buy more fish, such as anchovies and scad, to produce fish sauce and support her small trading activities.
In the future, she hopes her family will stay healthy and live happily together. She wishes her business will become more stable so she can improve her income and save some money to prepare for risks such as illness or unemployment.
