Amna's story
Amna is a 23-year-old skilled beautician who completed professional training in beauty and personal care services. Despite her skills, she lacked the financial resources to start her own business.
To turn her skills into a sustainable livelihood, Amna applied for financing under the CEIP program. After reviewing her business plan, CEIP approved financial support to help her establish a small beauty salon.
The CEIP financing was used to purchase beauty equipment, chairs, mirrors, cosmetics, skincare products, and basic salon furniture. Part of the funds was also used to set up the salon space and for initial marketing.
In the beginning, Amna faced challenges related to customer outreach and managing expenses. With time, improved service quality, and business guidance from CEIP, she built a loyal customer base.
The beauty salon now generates a steady income, enabling Amna to support her family and repay the CEIP financing on schedule. The business has increased her confidence, independence, and professional recognition in the community.
Amna’s success demonstrates how CEIP financing, combined with skills and dedication, can help individuals establish profitable small businesses and achieve financial empowerment.
