Parveen

Parveen's story

Parveen is a hardworking 45-year-old woman and mother of four children who earns her livelihood through a small sewing business run from her home.

In the past, she faced many financial difficulties due to a lack of capital, which limited her ability to purchase fabrics and sewing materials and manage her household expenses. After receiving a microfinance loan from CEIP, Parveen has now been able to buy fabrics and sewing accessories as well as upgrade her sewing machine. This support will help her increase her production capacity, serve more customers, and improve the quality of her stitching work.

As her business grows, her income will increase, allowing her to meet her daily household needs and support her children’s education. Parveen’s journey is a strong example of how microfinance empowers women by strengthening their small businesses, building financial confidence and creating better opportunities for their families.
