Delio's story

Delio is a senior farmer from Garzón, Huila, with 40 years of experience working in agriculture. He owns a one-hectare farm where he harvests approximately 4,000 coffee trees along with 200 plantain trees that help optimize moisture in his coffee plantation. Delio has established himself as an agricultural mentor in his community, providing support during harvests on other coffee farms and agricultural lands, sharing his knowledge, and accompanying other producers in fieldwork.

Delio lives with his wife and his daughter on the farm where he carries out his agricultural activity. His wife is a constant support in fieldwork and household management.
