Yamileth Gissel

Yamileth Gissel's story

Yamileth lives with her partner and two children, ages 4 and 7. Both children are her dependents. She does not have relatives who live abroad. Yamileth has as an economic activity making pupusas to sell. At first, she sold tortillas, but then she and a friend decided to enter into selling pupusas. Today, she has already had her business for two years and her friend supports her in tending it. They work from Monday to Saturday with a schedule of 6:00 am to 11:00 am. She learned the trade when she worked at an eatery. The advantage is that she does not have any competition in the zone.

She is asking for a loan to have financial resources that will allow her to boost her business. Yamileth will purchase corn, beans, seasonings, quesillo, etc., in bulk weekly to make and sell pupusas. In this way, the purchase will be at a low cost, with which she will be able to increase her profit margin.

Her aspiration is to have a profitable business and to have financial stability to provide her children with a decent lifestyle.
