Paulina's story
Thank you to the KIVA lenders who trust in the women of Guatemala and provide them with an opportunity to move forward. Among these is Paulina, an enthusiastic and hard-working woman. Only two years ago she had the benefit of a loan that she happily invested in buying raw materials for the traditional cloths she makes. She was happy as she had the opportunity to increase her capital a little. Above all she helps her partner and family at home so they have all they need.
Paulina is asking for a loan once again to invest in buying the following brands of yarn: Mish, Alemán and Cristalito. Having these to hand she’ll be able to continue with her work happily. One of Paulina’s plans is to buy various colours and brands of yarn, and to do so she needs investment. So she has come to the Association to ask for a loan she can invest as described above.
