A loan of $10,000 helps a Paraguayan entrepreneur to grow his Pittsburgh based painting and remodeling business.

Hugo's story
I am originally from Paraguay and I came to the United States a year and a half ago in search of better opportunities for my family and myself. In my country, the possibilities for growth were very limited, so I decided to take this big step with the hope of building a more stable future.
Since arriving in Pittsburgh, I have worked in different areas related to construction. I have knowledge in electrical work, carpentry, and painting, and I was also a musician for some time. These trades have been part of my life since I was young and have allowed me to gain valuable hands-on experience.
Starting my own business has always been a dream because I enjoy working independently, applying what I know, and creating something that benefits my family. Being an entrepreneur gives me more control over my work and allows me to dedicate myself to what I am truly passionate about.
