Serah

Serah, 50, is a store owner with three grown children. She is married and lives with her husband in their village in north Efate. Her husband sells artifacts to tourists and this is her fifth loan cycle with SPBD. She makes a living by managing her store.

Serah opened her store ten years ago with the aim to meet her family's day-to-day needs. Her dream is to continue her business and sustain it. At the moment, she plans to increase her store's supply to meet customer demand. However, she is unable to achieve her goal due to financial constraints.
